Ph.D. Applied Physics Candidate
Matthew Maksymowych
Matthew graduated from the University of Alberta’s honors physics program in 2021. His undergraduate research at Canada’s Nanotechnology Research Centre (NANO) was centered on developing optomechanical molecule sensors and nanophotonic measurement schemes. Matthew joined LINQS as a visiting researcher in the summer of 2020 and is now an Applied Physics Ph.D. student at Stanford. His current research focusses on chip-scale mass sensing mechanical circuits. Matthew’s other interests include hockey, history and politics.
