Takuma Makihara

Takuma joined the group in the autumn of 2020 and is a PhD student in Applied Physics. He studied physics at Rice University prior to coming to Stanford, where he explored quantum optical phenomena in condensed matter systems using terahertz spectroscopy. His current research focuses on quantum acoustics.
